Nicole Stephens is a 4th year medical student at Wake Forest School of Medicine. She has plans to pursue a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology, working towards improving maternal health in underserved communities. As a former Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota, Nicole spent a year working on a clinical trial in Kampala, Uganda. She has global health experience in Haiti, Ecuador, and research experience in hematology-oncology at the National Institutes of Health. Graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Biology and Scholar in Health Studies honors diploma.
